Elba City Schools is now using our notification system to call, text, or email parents each day their child is absent from school. We believe this will be a valuable tool to help families stay informed and support strong attendance.
As with any new system, there may be a few minor issues to work through at first. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep you informed in a timely and accurate manner.
Please make sure your contact information in PowerSchool is current and correct. If you need to update your phone number or email address, you can do so in PowerSchool or contact your child’s school for assistance. Thank you for partnering with us to support student success!

We are proud to congratulate Keelie Moseley on being selected as a Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete and DAR Good Citizen Award recipient for Coffee County! Way to represent! 🐯👏

Elba City Schools students and Coffee County students are gaining valuable, hands-on experience as they learn the Skid Steer – Skills For Success CRI at the Elba Career Academy. We appreciate Lurleen B. Wallace Community College for providing the instructors, equipment, and training, and the City of Elba for supplying the dirt. Partnerships like these help prepare our students for real-world careers.

Thank You, Community Partners!
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Elba Fire Department and the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, along with Keelie Moseley and Emmy Eldridge from the Elba High School Varsity Cheerleaders, for helping make this morning so special for our elementary students. Seeing Santa, the Grinch, and their helpers welcoming students to school brought lots of smiles and excitement. A special thank you to Ms. Alayna Cook for organizing and coordinating this wonderful event. It was truly a great morning at Elba City Schools, and we are grateful for the support of our school and community family

It was a great night honoring former Elba Tiger basketball coach Karl Bledsoe. Our court has officially been named Karl Bledsoe Court! We want to thank Coach Bledsoe for everything he did for Elba High School and the legacy he left for Elba Tiger Basketball!

We enjoyed a great performance from both our Elba Elementary Band and Elba High School Marching Tiger Band at their Christmas concert yesterday!

📢 NOTICE: School Lockdown Drill Scheduled
Elba High School will be conducting a lockdown drill on December 11th as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping students and staff safe. This is only a drill and there is no emergency.
These safety exercises help ensure that our school community knows what to do in the event of a real emergency. The drill will be brief and supervised by school administrators and local first responders.
We appreciate your support as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campus safe! 💛🐅
Join us for both of these exciting events!
